Gwen Stefani revealed that welcoming her youngest son in her forties became the moment that reshaped her spiritual life.

The singer said the experience, combined with unexpected conversations about faith, pushed her toward Christianity during a period when she was longing for another child.

Speaking in an interview with the Hallow prayer and meditation platform, the pop star admitted she once feared she had waited too long to grow her family.

"I really wanted to have another baby," she explained, recalling how the desire stayed with her as she got older.

At the same time, Stefani said she began working with a man who had once identified as an atheist before later embracing Judaism and studying the Torah.

Their conversations about scripture and belief left a strong impression on the Grammy winner, who said the discussions slowly opened her mind to deeper questions about God.

Around that period, her eldest son Kingston also began asking for a baby brother or sister.

Stefani remembered telling the youngster she believed she might be too old to have another child.

But Kingston started praying every night that his mother would become pregnant again.

Weeks later, the singer discovered she was expecting Apollo, whom she gave birth to naturally at 44.

She described the pregnancy as a "full-on gift," adding that the moment felt like the first miracle in a new chapter of faith.

Stefani, who shares sons Kingston, Zuma and Apollo with former husband Gavin Rossdale, later divorced the rocker in 2015.

She eventually found love again with country star Blake Shelton, whom she married in 2021 after several years together.

Looking back, the singer said the unexpected pregnancy pushed her toward faith and reflection in ways she never anticipated.

Today she says the journey still feels overwhelming, explaining that learning about Christianity has only deepened her curiosity and urgency to understand it better while raising her children.
