The Duggars have a new addition to the family.
Indeed, John-David and Abbie Duggar welcomed their third child together, a daughter, the pair announced.
"John and Abbie—party of 5!" they said on Instagram on March 1, accompanying a lovely family portrait. "Our adorable little princess arrived last month! We're utterly smitten and enjoying all the newborn snuggles!"
In the cute photo, the Counting On veteran and his wife posed with their 6-year-old daughter Grace, 3-year-old son Charlie, and their infant, smiling excitedly at the camera.
The pair, who married in 2018, announced that they were expecting their third child together in September.
"We've been keeping a little secret," they shared on Instagram in September. 3. "Baby #3 arriving early 2026!!!"
Their announcement featured photographs of their family holding one, two, and three balloons, as well as Abbie's sonograms.
However, the route to having a baby has not been smooth. Weeks after their announcement, Abbie revealed her hyperemesis gravidarum diagnosis, "a severe form of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, typically beginning between 4 and 6 weeks of gestation," according to the National Institute of Health.
"A little over halfway!" the 33-year-old captioned the September 27 Instagram image, which included photos of herself holding her baby bump on the beach. "We had a difficult go of it in the first half, and I am so glad to be feeling much more like myself again! God is good! #pregnant #hyperem"
John-David, 36, is among his 18 siblings celebrating new additions to the family. His sister Jana Duggar recently welcomed her first child, a son named Archie Gerald Wissmann, born on December 30, 2025. Jana and her husband, Stephen Wissmann, shared the news on January 23 via an Instagram post, expressing their joy and gratitude as they adapt to their new family dynamics. They initially announced Jana's pregnancy in August through a series of photographs showcasing her baby bump. During this announcement, Jessa Duggar Seewald, another sister, expressed her excitement about becoming an aunt again, eagerly anticipating the arrival of Archie. Jana humorously acknowledged the competition for the title of 'favorite aunt,' indicating that several of their other sisters are also eager to claim that role.
