Mia Goth reportedly wants her estranged husband Shia LaBeouf to seek professional help following his arrest earlier this week in New Orleans.

Sources claim the actress believes LaBeouf should enter rehab to address ongoing struggles with alcohol, saying his troubling behavior has been happening "for years" behind closed doors before spilling into public view.

Despite their split last year, insiders say Goth still cares deeply for the actor and hopes he can stabilize his life for the sake of their three-year-old daughter, Isabel. The pair married in 2016 after first meeting on the set of Nymphomaniac: Vol. II in 2012. Though they briefly filed for divorce in 2018, they later reconciled before quietly separating again in 2025.

LaBeouf, 39, was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday during Mardi Gras celebrations in the city's French Quarter. According to the New Orleans Police Department, officers were called to Royal Street around 12:45 a.m. after reports of a disturbance involving two adult men.

Authorities allege the actor became increasingly aggressive at a local business and was escorted outside before striking one man multiple times with closed fists. Police say he returned to the scene shortly after and allegedly punched a second man in the nose. He was charged with two counts of simple battery.

A police report further claims LaBeouf used homophobic slurs during the altercation. He was transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries before being booked into Orleans Parish Prison and later released on his own recognizance.

In the days following his arrest, the actor was seen running errands and walking around New Orleans. He has not publicly addressed the allegations.
