Meghan Trainor is soaking up every moment with her newest addition.
The "Made You Look" singer recently shared a sweet update about life at home with her baby daughter, Mikey Moon, just weeks after announcing that she and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their third child via surrogate. The update offered fans a heartwarming glimpse into the early days of their growing family.
In a Feb. 9 Instagram video, Meghan cradled Mikey as she gently danced along to her latest single, "Get in Girl." Wrapped in a soft pink blanket and sucking on a purple pacifier, baby Mikey looked cozy in her mom's arms. Meghan leaned closer to the camera to show her daughter's bright, curious eyes and a full head of red hair, instantly melting hearts online.
The 32 year old captioned the video simply and lovingly, writing, "3 weeks of loving Mikey."
Meghan and Daryl, who married in 2018, have been embracing life as parents of three since sharing the news of Mikey's arrival in January. In a joint Instagram post on Jan.
20, the couple announced their daughter's birth and expressed gratitude for the surrogate who helped make their family complete.
"Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it into the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate," they wrote. "We are over the moon in love with this precious girl."
They also thanked the doctors, nurses, and medical teams who supported them throughout the journey, explaining that welcoming Mikey via surrogate was the safest option for their family as they continued to grow.
At home, Mikey has already been showered with love by her older brothers, Riley, 4, and Barry, 2. The couple shared that their sons were thrilled about having a baby sister and were even involved in choosing her middle name.
Meghan later posted a touching TikTok video showing the moment Riley and Barry met Mikey for the first time in the hospital. Sitting on a bed with their parents nearby, the boys took turns holding their little sister with wide eyed excitement. Riley sweetly asked if they were bringing her home that day, while Barry leaned in eagerly to give kisses, accidentally letting out a burp that made everyone laugh.
Looking proudly at the camera, Riley declared, "This is our baby."
With baby Mikey settling in at home and her big brothers fully embracing their new role, Meghan and Daryl appear to be enjoying every second of this joyful new chapter.
