Kim Kardashian and Jonathan Cheban are both good: bible.
The Kardashians star revealed that, while she and the former PR professional don't spend as much time together these days, their friendship is still strong.
"I love Jonathan," Kim, 45, said on Khloe Kardashian's Khloe in Wonderland podcast on Jan. 21. "I think people think we don't talk."
Kim, who has children North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with ex-Kanye West, explained that life took them down two different paths.
"Jonathan and I are good," the SKIMS founder explained. "Here is the thing. I have children, and it is extremely difficult to maintain friendships when you are immersed in them. And Jonathan is not going to come and sit in Calabasas. All day, he’s like, always on the move.”
Khloe added about the Food God's hectic lifestyle, saying, "I understand. "There is so much history there."
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians alums confirmed that Jonathan attended their mother Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party in November. Furthermore, Kim demonstrated Jonathan's accessibility by FaceTiming him during the podcast, and he confirmed that he is still keeping up with the entire family.
"That was probably one of the best parties in like 15 years," Jonathan, 51, said over the phone. "They don't do parties like that anymore."
Kim reflects on her early friendship with Jonathan, sharing memories of staged paparazzi moments. They recalled an event where they hitchhiked a ride in a luxurious Rolls Royce while trying to evade the waiting paparazzi, initially focused on Britney Spears. As they exited their vehicle, the paparazzi mistook them for visitors of Britney, prompting Jonathan to advise Kim to stay low-key. Their ruse apparently succeeded as they feigned a visit, leading to headlines about their supposed encounter with the pop star. Jonathan also taught Kim how to navigate the paparazzi, advising her to refrain from smiling, emulating Victoria Beckham's composed demeanor.
