Alexa Lemieux is starting her next chapter with a new look.
More than a month after the Love Is Blind season three alum announced her split from husband Brennon Lemieux, with whom she has 17-month-old daughter Vienna, the reality star revealed that she had breast augmentation surgery.
"I was going to wait until I had more kids and then do them after I finished having kids, but since that timeline shifted, I decided that there's no time like the present," Alexa explained in her TikTok video on Jan. 13. "I'm a huge advocate for, if you're wanting to get something done that you feel insecure about, getting it done."
"I'm officially on day five post-surgery, and I feel pretty much back to normal for the most part," she told me. ""I performed a lift and an implant. Recovery hasn't been as difficult
as I expected. I've been wanting to have this surgery for a long time, ever since I stopped breastfeeding my daughter. My girls have never set the same standards as they did before."
The 31-year-old met Brennon on the Netflix dating show in 2021 and had several consultations before deciding on a plastic surgeon.
Despite her desire for a new look, she stated, "I did not want to be too big. I wanted something that would fit my frame nicely and be cute, but not in your face."
What did she end up going with? She told me, "I did under the muscle, 425 ccs, and they look so incredible."
For Alexa, navigating life as a single mom meant focusing on her emotional and physical needs.
"Obviously, I have a lot going on in my life right now," she explained. "I've been working hard to heal from within—thank you, therapy. But I also wanted to do something for myself on the outside.
"I think that process of getting your spark back can look so different, but for me, it's while continuing to be the best mom that I can be," she told me. "It's also about prioritizing myself and doing things that make me happy. It's one of the best decisions I made."
