Nicole Kidman is entering 2026 focused on family and what lies ahead.

The Oscar-winning actress welcomed the New Year by sharing a quiet, reflective moment with her daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, while spending the holidays in her native Australia. In a photo posted to her Instagram Stories, the trio stood arm-in-arm with their backs to the camera, overlooking the water in Sydney as fireworks lit up the sky.

"Looking forward into 2026 xx," Kidman wrote over the image.

The post marked her first New Year celebration since her separation from Keith Urban, whom she split from in September after 19 years of marriage. According to sources, returning home to Australia for the holidays was a deliberate choice for the actress following a challenging few months.

Those close to Kidman say she has remained positive and grounded, choosing to center the season around her children and gratitude rather than the upheaval of the past year. The holiday trip also coincided with Faith's 15th birthday, which Kidman marked privately while surrounded by family.

Kidman filed for divorce in late September, citing irreconcilable differences. Since then, both she and Urban have continued to co-parent amicably. Court documents outline a parenting agreement that prioritizes stability for their daughters and includes a commitment from both parents to maintain a supportive and respectful environment.

Under the agreement, Kidman is the primary residential parent, though the girls continue to spend time with their father. Sources familiar with the arrangement emphasize that there is no tension, describing the co-parenting dynamic as calm and focused on the children's well-being.

In addition to Sunday and Faith, Kidman is also mother to Bella, 33, and Connor, 30, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
