Catelynn Lowell Baltierra's family is continuing a tradition.
The Teen Mom alum's 19-year-old brother, Nicholas Radtke, has confirmed that he and his fiancée, Emma Smith, are expecting their first kid.
"Welp, Santa has brought me the greatest gift I've ever received," Nick posted on Instagram on December 25. "I'm having a baby, y'all."
The soon-to-be teen dad also uploaded a Christmas card with photos of himself and his girlfriend clutching a child's onesie outfit, captioned "We're about to become a family of three!" We're very excited to announce that we're expecting! "Baby Radtke is coming soon!"
While neither Catelynn nor her husband, Tyler Baltierra, who first starred on the first season of MTV's reality TV show 16 & Pregnant in 2009, commented on the news, fellow Teen Mom star Rachel Beaver expressed her happiness for the couple. "Congratulations!! "You are going to be the best parents," she wrote in the comments section. "I'm so happy for y'all." Nick has shown his love for Emma on social media over the last year, indicating that their relationship has lasted more than a year. In fact, he began 2025 with a photo of the couple together, saying on Instagram, "Going into 2025 with the person I fell in love with in '24."
Nick's connection with Catelynn is a different story. In January, he posted an Instagram video set to Coldplay's "Sparks" with the comment, "You know it's bad when people on the internet feel more like siblings than [sic] your actual siblings."
Meanwhile, in 2023, Catelynn responded to Nick's allegations that Tyler makes disparaging remarks about her weight, including calling her a "heifer."
"I'm putting this out here because my brother is continuously [sic] just trying to build this 'fan base' that's based off of lies!" She wrote on Instagram in August 2023. "The ONLY person that has ever called me fat has been YOU!"
“I’m sharing this because if he wants to use my name for clout & to get followers,” Catelynn continued. “It is what it is, but I at least want those people to know who they’re following & what type of person they’re actually supporting!”
