Blake Lively is proving that this is the best time of year.
The Gossip Girl alum shared a glimpse of her holiday celebrations at home with husband Ryan Reynolds and their children James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6, and Olin, 2.
"There's nothing better..." "Family, hot cookies, iced cold milk (yes, with ice, iykyk)," Blake wrote in an Instagram Story on December 28. "A fire, mahjong, a sparkly Britney Spears-inspired water bottle, snow outside, and a new season of Fixer Upper."
The 38-year-old exclaimed, "My heaven."
Blake's sweet holiday update comes nearly a year after she filed a lawsuit against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni in December, accusing him of sexual harassment and retaliation. (Justin denied the accusations made in Blake's case, and while he later countersued Blake, the judge dismissed his filing. Blake's trial against Justin is scheduled to begin in May 2026.
Blake has kept a low profile during her ongoing legal proceedings, but she did issue a statement after Justin's lawsuit against her was dismissed in June.
"Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us," she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “While the suit against me was defeated, so many don't have the resources to fight back.”
After thanking those who supported her during her legal battle, she addressed other women in similar situations, saying, "I will never stop appreciating or advocating for you."
While Blake's life has been consumed by the back-and-forth, she told Vogue in September 2024—three months before filing her lawsuit—that her actual, personal life is much more "intimate" these days, as her most recent Christmastime snapshot demonstrates.
"Sitting around with them doing chicken dances," she told the paper, "while I have a very serious conversation with you is probably the most accurate portrait of me possible."
Nonetheless, Blake has always sought a balance between her quiet life and her career.
"I want to be as present of a mother as humanly possible, and I want them to feel my presence," she told People in 2021, "but I also think the best way to be the best mother is to show them that you can have a life and have a passion and have an identity outside of just being a mother."
