Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson are taking their next step.

President Donald Trump announced his eldest son's engagement during a holiday party at the White House on December 15. In a video shared with X, Donald Jr. provided insight into his next chapter.

"It's not often that I'm at a loss for words, 'cause we usually do the ranting and raving really well," the 47-year-old told the audience. "But this is a bit different. But I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful holiday season, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.

Donald Jr. gave a shoutout to his now-fiancée, who wore a sparkling red dress for the occasion, adding, "And to thank Bettina for that one word, 'yes.'"

Donald Jr. also acknowledged that his engagement is a “big win for the end of the year" before turning the floor over to Bettina.

“This has really been the most unforgettable weekend of my life,” the 39-year-old said. “And I get to marry the love of my life. And I just feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”

Donald Jr. and Bettina made their relationship public last December while celebrating her birthday in Palm Beach, Florida. The following month, the couple attended events celebrating his father's inauguration.

Donald Jr. was engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle before dating Bettina. (With ex-wife Vanessa Trump, he has children Kai, 18; Donald III, 16; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11).

Vanessa has also started a new chapter in her personal life, having confirmed her romance with golf pro Tiger Woods in March.

Donald Jr. isn't the only one capping off the year with big news; his younger sister Tiffany Trump gave birth to her and husband Michael Boulos' son Alexander earlier this year.
