Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez shared a personal glimpse of their first Christmas together as a married couple.
The vocalists of I Said I Love You First, who were married in September, shared a glimpse of their Christmas celebrations as a married couple.
Selena, 33, posted a cute video of herself and Benny, 37, decorating their Christmas tree on Instagram on December 4. The newlyweds' decorations, which included anything from a tiny jar of pickles to pink spheres and turquoise finials, didn't adhere to any particular color scheme.
"Our first Christmas as a married couple" was a suitable title for the milestone.
The couple toasted to their first Thanksgiving together a few weeks prior to this post. In November, Selena shared a cozy photo with the producer by their fireplace and later displayed their beautifully decorated outdoor setup with long wooden tables adorned with flowers and rust-colored candles. She expressed her gratitude on Instagram Stories, wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving.
Since their California wedding, the couple has been reflecting on their blessings. Benny shared cherished memories from the ceremony on Instagram, particularly their dance at the reception, promising to love Selena forever. Despite feeling nervous while walking down the aisle, Selena is embracing their happiness together.
At Fortune’s Most Powerful Women conference, the singer spoke about her conflicting emotions after getting married. She reflected on her tendency to feel overwhelmed by the fear of losing her happiness, noting that instead of enjoying her accomplishments, she often worries about their impermanence. This internal struggle distracts her from fully appreciating joyful moments.
However, in spite of her attitude, she and Benny are now making special milestones out of their marriage.
