Feuding, like tango, requires two people to participate—just ask Jen Affleck.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star claimed that her latest feud with Whitney Leavitt stemmed from their shared desire to appear on Dancing With the Stars. In fact, Jen expressed her displeasure with castmate Whitney Leavitt's return to MomTok after stepping away during the second season of their show—all in the hopes of landing on DWTS. As Jen phrased it, she believes Whitney is "only here for herself and her own opportunities."

"It’s frustrating for me because since the day I met her, I told her I wanted to go on Dancing With the Stars—that is literally one of my dreams," Jen shared on the third season of their Hulu series, which premiered Nov. 13. "The minute she sees there’s an opportunity, she’s like, ‘Oh wait, I’ve always wanted it.'"

But she is not wrong. After all, Whitney confessed in a personal confessional that the opportunity to be cast on DWTS was a major "motivator" to stay with the group, which also includes Taylor Frankie Paul, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Demi Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura, and Layla Taylor.

However, the 32-year-old also stated that she was there for "sisterhood" reasons.

"I worked my ass off trying to get it back," Whitney said of her friendship with the other ladies, accusing them of treating her with "hostility" when she returned. "This is exactly why I didn't want to return, but there's this incredible chance, Dancing With the Stars, which I desire. So I'm going to go for it, no shame."

Ultimately, they both secured berths for the 34th season of DWTS. Jen, 26, was partnered with Jan Ravnik, whereas Whitney battled with professional dancer Mark Ballas.

When Jen was ousted from the competition in October, she hinted at residual tensions between herself and Whitney. "I would root for a former MomTok user," she said during a TikTok Live, "but we won't get into that."

Jen went on to state unequivocally that she has "no relationship" with Whitney in an interview with E! News in early November.

"Unfortunately, some things happened, so we've just taken a step back," she said, adding that they are "not on good terms."

What about Whitney? She too did not make it to the DWTS finale, getting eliminated during the November 19 episode. Nonetheless, the TikToker expressed gratitude for the opportunity.

"I wanted to give it my all every single dance," she told E! after being eliminated. "There's just some things that are out of your control, but I'm gonna leave just knowing that I gave it my all."
