Tori Kelly was made to love her baby. The 32-year-old American Idol alum gave birth to her first child with husband André Murillo.
"Zayden Michael Murillo," Tori wrote beside her Instagram image on November 16, marking the name of the couple's child, "11.11.25; we love you so much, sweet boy."
The Grammy winner first confirmed her pregnancy on July 9, singing an unreleased song as she and André, whom she married in 2018, held hands and kissed.
"Passed every test/boxes checked," she exclaimed in a YouTube video. “I’m ready for what comes next. Let’s make a baby.”
And as her music career has grown, Tori—who toured with Ed Sheeran while pregnant—has expressed her joy that her family would be able to develop with it.
"This year has already been full of highs," she told People magazine in July. "Getting to perform in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career, and now getting to start a family with my amazing husband."
As Tori stated at the time, "We are just so grateful for what's to come and can't wait to meet this little gift from God."
Tori's prior health fight made the news of their baby's arrival all the more special. In 2023, the "I Was Made for Loving You" singer was hospitalized with life-threatening blood clots after collapsing in public.
Fortunately, after a few days in the hospital, she was no longer in critical condition. Three months later, the singer told us about her ordeal.
"My family was definitely there for me," Tori said during an October 9 visit on The Jennifer Hudson Show. "I was at ease for the most part, but I was also perplexed and wondering what was going on. Thankfully, I had some fantastic doctors who were able to simply take care of everything and get me healthy. And it appears to be a manageable situation presently. I feel fantastic; they are still keeping an eye on me and such, but I am in good spirits."
She continued, "I'm back to singing and doing my thing. I feel extremely terrific, and I'm really grateful."
