The Duchess of Sussex is once again stepping into the spotlight as With Love, Meghan returns for its second season on Netflix. Filmed in a stylish Montecito home near where Meghan lives with Prince Harry, the show blends aspirational living with glimpses into her daily routines, though the Duke of Sussex and their children remain off-screen.

In one episode, Meghan highlights the importance of breakfast as a family ritual, sharing how she prepares fried eggs, pancakes, and inventive "surprise" meals for her children. She explains the ritual of sitting down together provides calm before the day begins. The tone of the show remains upbeat, with visits from celebrity friends such as Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, and chef José Andrés.

The program carefully avoids references to the royal family or ongoing disputes. Prince Harry and their children Archie and Lilibet do not appear, reflecting the couple's commitment to preserving their children's privacy. Meghan, however, shares anecdotes about her past as an actress, including audition nerves, and her early relationship with Harry, recounting the moment she knew their romance was serious.

Critics remain divided. The Telegraph awarded the series two stars, describing it as "marginally less mad than the first," while Hello Magazine praised Meghan's energy and positivity, expressing eagerness for a third installment. Audience ratings for season one were notably low on Rotten Tomatoes, though Netflix reported strong viewing figures globally.

The new season comes amid Meghan's broader rebranding efforts, including her lifestyle brand As Ever, her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, and a new Netflix production deal alongside Prince Harry. Royal experts suggest the series plays a central role in shaping Meghan's public identity moving forward.

Though divisive, the Duchess's latest project demonstrates her determination to carve out a unique space beyond her royal past. For her supporters, it is a window into her creativity and warmth. For her critics, it is further proof of a carefully curated image. Either way, the Duchess of Sussex has ensured she remains firmly in the cultural conversation.
