Taylor Swift is in a new, record-setting era. The 14-time Grammy winner made her debut on the New Heights podcast on August 13, and Guinness World Records has confirmed that the episode broke a major milestone. On Tuesday, August 26, the organization announced that Swift's appearance drew "the most concurrent views for a podcast on YouTube" with 1.3 million people tuning in live. As of publication, the episode has already surpassed 20 million views.

Swift, 35, joined her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce on the podcast where she also shared some big news. With their help, she announced her upcoming 12th studio album titled The Life of a Showgirl. She later confirmed the release with an Instagram post, writing, "And, baby, that's show business for you. New album The Life of a Showgirl. Out October 3."

The album is produced by Swift, Max Martin, and Shellback. She also revealed the track list, which includes a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter on the title track. Other songs featured on the project are "Elizabeth Taylor," "Ruin the Friendship," "Honey," "Actually Romantic," "CANCELLED!", "Eldest Daughter," "Father Figure," "Opalite," and "The Fate of Ophelia."

Before her appearance on New Heights, Swift had teased fans with a countdown on her website starting August 11. The page displayed an orange background with mint green numbers that expired at 12:12 a.m. ET. Next to the countdown, visitors saw confirmation that she would be appearing as a featured guest on the podcast.

During the episode, Swift and Travis shared a lighthearted exchange. In one clip, Swift admired the color of his blue sweatshirt, calling it a "nice color." Travis responded, "Yes, I know. It's the color of your eyes, sweetie. It's why we match so well." Swift laughed and added, "We're about to do a f---ing podcast!"

Ahead of the episode's release, New Heights had teased fans with a mysterious promotional image featuring Swift's silhouette between the Kelce brothers. The same orange and mint green colors from Swift's countdown were used in the artwork, sparking speculation that she was preparing for a major announcement.

With a new album on the way and a Guinness World Record already secured, Swift has kicked off her next chapter in unforgettable fashion.
