"This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy," Brown wrote. Alongside the heartfelt message, the couple captioned their joint post with the words, "And then there were 3."
Brown and Bongiovi's relationship began in June 2021 after sparking romance rumors when Bongiovi posted a selfie with her on Instagram. The actress later revealed they were friends before dating. After nearly three years together, the couple secretly tied the knot in May 2024. Months later, they celebrated with a larger ceremony at Villa Cetinale in Italy, surrounded by family and friends. Brown shared wedding photos, writing, "Forever and always, your wife," while Bongiovi posted his own set, captioning, "Forever and always, your husband."
The actress has spoken openly about her desire to become a mother. During an appearance on the Smartless podcast in March, she reflected on how motherhood had always been part of her vision for the future. "My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. Since I was little, I always wanted to be a mom just like my mom was to me," she said.
Brown also credited her grandmother as a major influence in her life and explained that starting a family was something she and Bongiovi had always planned. Both grew up in families with four children, and Brown said she envisions building a large family of their own. She emphasized that adoption felt just as meaningful as having biological children.
The actress has also tied her motherhood journey to a personal tradition. She previously shared that she plans to shave her head again when welcoming her first baby, calling the experience liberating and symbolic of embracing a new stage of womanhood.
With their daughter now home, Brown and Bongiovi are stepping into parenthood with joy and a sense of privacy as they begin this new chapter together.
