Julia Fox is opening up about her identity in a way she hasn't before. In a recent Allure interview, Fox confirmed that she identifies as pansexual. "I'm pansexual; I could be attracted to anyone and anything," she explained. "If it were just down to the physical, I'm more attracted to the female body. Men don't do it for me at all [physically], but I can be attracted to a man's mind. I'm a vibes person."

Fox acknowledged having felt attracted to women and even explored those connections, though they never evolved into long-term relationships. Still, she doesn't feel pressure to pursue men anymore. "I don't have to entertain men anymore," she said. "The way my life is, I can't see why a man would be beneficial. I'm laser-focused on being a good mom, on being a good provider, on making my dreams come true."

The 35-year-old, who shares her son Valentino with ex-husband Peter Artemiev, emphasized how her priorities have shifted. "There's just so much more you can do with your time than waiting around to see if a guy's going to text you back or not," she remarked. When asked if she missed dating men, Fox answered directly: "No, not at all."

Fox's path to fully understanding her sexuality has taken time. Back in 2022, she hinted at it during an interview, joking that she might have a "gay bone" and should explore it further. The following year, she shared a TikTok where she referred to herself as a lesbian who disliked her boyfriend, later explaining that she was open to dating women but had not yet settled on a specific label.

Reflecting now, Fox believes it took her longer to recognize her queerness because of social conditioning. "I think women have a harder time because we are so programmed to perform for men," she said. Looking back on intense friendships with women, she acknowledged, "Oh my God, we were in a relationship. But there was no way I was going to admit that to myself, and I couldn't because so much of my survival was hinged upon men taking care of me."

For Fox, this public statement marks the first time she has firmly defined her sexuality.
