The likelihood that Liam Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks will soon be getting married may be in his favor.
On August 10, while celebrating Chris Hemsworth's 42nd birthday in Ibiza, Spain, Gabriella was spotted sporting a huge diamond ring on that finger, officially igniting engagement rumors between the Hunger Games alum and the model.
Along with Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, Liam, 35, and Gabriella, 29, joined his close friends Taika Waititi and his wife, Rita Ora, in celebrating the Thor star.
Gabriella wore sunglasses, black sandals, and a yellow polka-dot sundress during the outing. She accessorized the ensemble with a diamond ring on her left ring finger, which she displayed for guests with a big smile.
When the Australian influencer was spotted meeting Liam's parents, Craig and Leonie Hemsworth, in 2019, the couple initially aroused romance rumors.
They didn't, however, publicly acknowledge their relationship until 2021, when they attended the Gold Dinner charity event with Chris and his wife, Elsa Pataky.
The Witcher star and Gabriella have tried their best to hide their personal lives over the years. The Witcher star was previously in a ten-year relationship with her ex-wife Miley Cyrus before they finalized their divorce in 2020.
"His relationship with Gabriella is very different from Miley's," a person close to Liam told E! News in 2021. "They like the same things and have the same lifestyle."
"It's not a rollercoaster of highs and lows," the insider continued. Gabriella is incredibly calm and relaxed.
The source added that Liam's family "very much approves and likes having her around," so it's not just Liam who finds his fellow Aussie endearing.
According to the insider, "They are happy for Liam that he has found someone who brings out the best in him."
Even though their relationship is quiet, the couple has never held back from gushing about one another when the mood strikes, as demonstrated by Gabriella's January special tribute to Liam on his 35th birthday.
In addition to numerous pictures of the couple spending time with their dog, FaceTiming, on the beach, and in the car together, she wrote, “Happy Birthday to my sunshine.”
