Machine Gun Kelly is setting the record straight on who really deserves the credit when it comes to caring for his and Megan Fox's newborn daughter, Saga Blade.

During an appearance on Today With Jenna & Friends on August 7, the 35-year-old rapper and actor spoke candidly about being a dad again. Although he's grateful for the experience, he admitted much of the parenting praise he receives feels unearned. "Someone the other day was like, 'You're such a good dad!' just because I was holding the baby," MGK recalled. "She was fuming, like, 'No, no, no, no.' She's the one. I just play the guitar and pray that the baby is happy."

He emphasized that Fox, 39, is doing the majority of the work. "I want to detract all of the congrats to me and just move it to Megan because she really does all the work," he said. Despite their split last November, the exes seem to be on good co-parenting terms. Fox gave birth to Saga on March 27, and MGK announced the arrival with a sweet black-and-white video showing the baby holding his finger. "She's finally here!! our little celestial seed," he captioned the post.

Fans initially thought "celestial seed" was the baby's name, but MGK later revealed her real name in a separate video, writing: "Saga Blade Fox-Baker, thank you for the ultimate gift @meganfox."

The name holds a deeper meaning for him. "She is an epic story. That's what saga means. That's [also] the Nordic goddess of storytelling. So, she has a storytelling future ahead of her," he previously explained.

Saga is MGK's second child; he shares a daughter, Casie, with ex Emma Cannon. Casie appears to be enjoying life as a big sister.
