Luke Hemsworth's children may be showing signs of following his path into the entertainment world. During an exclusive interview with People at the New York City premiere of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf on Monday, August 4, the 44-year-old actor opened up about which of his four children may be drawn to acting and how he feels about it.
"My oldest daughter is a really good singer, so she's heading in a different direction. But the youngest one says she wants to act," Hemsworth shared. "I'm trying to get her to read more, write some scripts, and dive into books."
Hemsworth and his wife, Samantha, also 44, have been married since 2007 and are parents to four children: daughters Holly (16), Ella (15), Harper (13), and son Alexandre (12). The family moved from Los Angeles to Australia in 2020 after spending seven years in the U.S.
In May, Hemsworth shared glimpses of a family vacation to New York City through Instagram photos. In one selfie taken on the Brooklyn Bridge, one of his daughters is seen hiding her face playfully. Another shot captures daughter Harper pulling funny faces with the bridge in the background. The final image features the actor posing with his daughters outside a New York fire station.
While walking the red carpet for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, Hemsworth also reflected on the idea of collaborating with his famous brothers, Chris and Liam Hemsworth.
"I would love for all three of us to do a film together," he said. "Liam and I had a great experience a few years ago on Land of Bad, a war film, and Chris and I worked together briefly in the Thor films. I think a proper collaboration should happen. Maybe it will. I'm putting it out there."
Luke stars alongside Taylor Kitsch and Chris Pratt in the Amazon Prime Video prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which follows the early journey of Navy SEAL Ben Shepherd as he transitions into life as a CIA operative. The show is based on Jack Carr's popular novel series.
