Jessy Sally Raphael is in a great mood. The former talk show host posted about her recent adventures, including a boat trip, to provide an update on her life.
"Raphaelites, happy Friday!" Sally wrote a caption for her Instagram photo from July 25. "I'm providing you with a sailboat experience."
The 90-year-old is seen in the picture relaxing on a boat, flaunting her red hair while wearing a yellow headscarf, sunglasses, and a dress with a black and white pattern.
She has been sharing more than just her sailing excursions, though: On July 15, Sally shared a picture of herself eating oysters while on vacation. She wrote, "In New England enjoying some oysters… aren't these supposed to be an aphrodisiac?!"
Despite being a TV mainstay from 1983 to 2002 with her show Sally, which was well-known for its obscene interviews, Sally has been thinking about growing older in the spotlight recently, particularly as she celebrated her 90th birthday in February.
"It's really interesting being 90 because if you dye your hair and you don't have any veins in your legs, then people say you look young," she stated to People in May. "And it's always pleasant to hear that, although why they think looking young when you can claim 90 is beyond me, but they think it's a compliment."
But one benefit of aging that Sally has found enjoyable? She is able to be "cute" once more.
"I believe it's related to the word 'cute,'" she clarified. "You're cute when you're young, but you lose your cuteness over time. You'll be cute again when you're 80 or 90 years old. ' That cute old lady,' they say all the time, so I suppose I'm cute again."
In fact, the TV star has been thrilled about the opportunity to use Instagram to engage with younger viewers who grew up with her.
Regarding using the platform, she stated, "It's a way of keeping in touch with people that I care about." "There are certain privileges that come with being 90 years old. People are inclined to pay attention to you a bit more.”
