Country music star Zac Brown and renowned jewelry designer Kendra Scott have announced their engagement, marking a new chapter in their quietly built relationship. The couple shared their news in a statement to People, expressing joy and gratitude: "We are so happy and grateful that we found each other."

Their engagement comes just two months after they made their red carpet debut at the 2025 American Music Awards in Las Vegas. Brown, 46, walked the event in a classic black suit and wide-brimmed hat, while Scott, 51, wore a shimmering silver gown. The night was especially memorable, as Brown received the inaugural Veterans' Voice Award for his service-related philanthropy.

Although this was their first public appearance as a couple, sources say their relationship had been developing well before then. "They were set up by mutual friends," a source told Us Weekly. "They've been inseparable ever since." The two are said to be deeply aligned in values, particularly in their dedication to family and philanthropy.

Scott, recently posted affectionate photos of the couple on Instagram, quoting lyrics from the Zac Brown Band's song "I Ain't Worried About It." In one caption, she wrote, "Whenever I'm with you, I ain't worried about it," to which Brown replied, "Anywhere is home with you."

The couple's bond seems grounded in shared purpose. Brown is the founder of Camp Southern Ground, a nonprofit supporting veterans and children. Scott, through her Kendra Scott Foundation, recently donated over $500,000 to disaster relief efforts. A source close to the pair noted, "They're not just partners, they're teammates."

Between them, Brown and Scott are parents to eight children, ranging from preteens to young adults. Brown shares five kids with his ex-wife Shelly Brown, while Scott has three sons from previous relationships.

Despite the high-profile nature of their careers, the couple has taken a measured approach to their relationship. Their engagement reflects not just a romantic milestone, but a merging of lives grounded in mutual respect and commitment to service.
