Jennifer Lopez has said she's no longer interested in walking down the aisle again. During her Up All Night tour in Bilbao, Spain, the 55-year-old singer responded to a fan asking her, "J Lo, marry me?" Her response was caught on video and shared on social media, "I think I'm done with that. I've tried that a few times," she said, laughing and shaking her head.
Lopez's comments come shortly after her most recent split from actor and filmmaker Ben Affleck. The couple, who were once famously dubbed "Bennifer," rekindled their early 2000s romance in 2021 and tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2022. However, by August 2024, exactly two years after their wedding, Lopez filed for divorce. The split was finalized in January after being resolved through mediation.
The pair originally met on the set of Gigli in 2001, became engaged in 2002 and called off their planned 2003 wedding just days before the ceremony. A source told Us Weekly in June that during their second go at love, "they couldn't get on the same page and had been discussing divorce as an option."
Before Affleck, Lopez had been married three times. Her first marriage was with Ojani Noa in 1997, but it ended in less than a year, lasting only 11 months. She later married dancer Cris Judd in 2001 after the two connected on the set of her "Love Don't Cost a Thing" music video, however, the couple parted ways and finalized their divorce in 2003. Her longest-lasting union was with singer Marc Anthony, whom she married in 2004 after years of friendship. They share 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme. The couple split in 2011 and their divorce was finalized in 2014.
Lopez also had a high-profile engagement to former baseball player Alex Rodriguez, which lasted from 2019 to 2021.
Now on the European leg of her tour, Lopez has been opening up to fans not just about her romantic past, but her emotional journey as well. At a recent private listening session for fans, she debuted new music, including "Wreckage of You," a ballad she wrote during a challenging period in her life.
