Reese Witherspoon and Oliver Haarmann were seen sharing an affectionate moment off the coast of Saint-Tropez, confirming their relationship remains strong nearly a year after they were first linked. The pair, photographed on Sunday, July 13, lounged and laughed aboard a luxury yacht, drawing attention with their easy intimacy and sun-drenched displays of affection.
The 49-year-old actress and her 57-year-old financier boyfriend were pictured embracing and kissing on the boat, then later riding a sea scooter together before floating beside a rocky cove. At one point, Haarmann was seen rinsing off Witherspoon's back and legs with a handheld shower, reinforcing the relaxed, unguarded nature of their getaway.
Their relationship, though relatively low-profile, has grown increasingly public over the past year. Multiple sources confirmed in September 2024 that the two were dating. Haarmann, a founding partner at Searchlight Capital and minority co-owner of the NHL's New York Islanders, reportedly caught Witherspoon's attention for his distance from the entertainment industry.
"She loves that he's a businessman and not into Hollywood," a source told People in October 2024. At the time, the insider noted that Witherspoon was "having fun with Oliver" and regularly flew between Nashville and New York City to see him. "She enjoys it but doesn't want it to be a big focus. She's busy with work and her son. These are her biggest priorities," the source added.
The romance appears to be progressing well. Haarmann has been spending time with Witherspoon's children—Deacon Phillippe, 21, and Tennessee James Toth, 12—whom she shares with former partners Ryan Phillippe and Jim Toth. This suggests a degree of integration into her family life, though representatives for Witherspoon have not officially commented on the nature or future of the relationship.
