Tommy Paul, the 28-year-old tennis star, proposed to his girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, during a beachside getaway in Nantucket, nearly three years after they went public with their relationship.

The couple announced the engagement in a joint Instagram post on July 13, captioned "Forever" alongside photos of the intimate proposal. In one image, Lorenze is seen resting her hand, featuring a large emerald-cut diamond, on top of Paul's.

Both dressed in white, the couple embraced barefoot in the sand. Lorenze wore a long floral dress, while Paul kept it casual in a white linen shirt and jeans. The setting was quiet, romantic, and deliberately low-key.

The proposal was followed by a private dinner at CRU Oyster Bar. According to a guest's Instagram story, the celebration featured a custom menu with lobster rolls, tuna tacos, caviar cones, and champagne.

Paul and Lorenze made their relationship public in October 2022. Since then, Lorenze has supported Paul at numerous tournaments, including his semifinal run at the 2023 Australian Open, where he became the first American man to reach that stage in 14 years.

During the post-match interview in Melbourne, Paul gave her a birthday shoutout. "It's Paige's birthday tomorrow," he told the crowd. "Make sure you wish her."

Lorenze, 27, is a former skier turned influencer and founder of lifestyle brand Dairy Boy. She spoke to Sportskeeda in 2024, saying she was "so proud" of Paul. "He's a gracious competitor with incredible sportsmanship," she said.

She also revealed Paul had been teaching her tennis. "I'm definitely getting the hang of it," she said. But in April 2025, Paul admitted to PEOPLE that he often skips those lessons. "I always say I'll go out and play," he laughed. "Then I get lazy."

Despite the missed sessions, he complimented Lorenze's form. "She has the strokes down. She knows what she's doing on court."

Lorenze recently addressed the "WAG" label in an interview with Who What Wear. "Being a WAG is the least interesting thing about me," she said. "Everyone on tour has their own thing. I love that we're not just sidelines."

The engagement comes shortly after Paul's early exit at Wimbledon. Lorenze was in the stands, as usual, this time in a custom Dairy Boy dress.
