The last rose from Hayley Kiyoko has been accepted by Becca Tilley. After dating for seven years, the singer-songwriter revealed that she and the Bachelor alum are engaged.
Hayley, 34, said, "My dream girl said yes to forever…" in a shared Instagram photo on July 10.
She also shared pictures of herself getting down on one knee in front of a gorgeous waterfront location, a close-up of a radiant-cut Ring Concierge ring, and a happy moment after leaping in the water with her followers to give them a glimpse of how she proposed while on vacation in Mallorca.
The 36-year-old Becca also shared the incident on social media, writing, "Easiest yes I've ever said."
Two years after Becca's last appearance in the franchise, the couple met in 2018, and several Bachelor Nation members voiced their delight for them. Ashley Iaconetti, who costarred with Becca on Season 19 of The Bachelor, wrote, "Congratulations! Congratulations! This was the next wedding, I knew! I adore you both.
JoJo Fletcher, Becca's best friend, also congratulated her, writing, "My girls! I love you so much and cannot wait to see this beautiful new chapter unfold for the two of you!!" "One of the most beautiful couples inside and out," Kaitlyn Bristowe added, echoing the sentiment. I adore your love and am really happy."
Despite meeting in 2018, the couple waited another four years to make their romance public. It took some time for Becca to feel ready to come out and make their relationship completely public, even though they never intended to keep it that way.
"Hayley and I had a lot of conversations about being public and being private," Becca said in a May 2024 episode of the Made It Out podcast. "She was like, 'I am so proud, and I have worked so hard to be proud of who I am that I don't want to feel like I'm back in the closet.' And I'm like, 'I also don't want you to feel like that. But if you can kind of see my perspective, I'm navigating being a public person and having a public platform, being from The Bachelor; it is really hard.'"
However, by the time they formally declared their relationship in May 2022, Becca and Hayley were able to feel completely secure in their partnership. Becca said to E! News a month later, "We've been together for four years, so the good thing is when we went public, we felt very solid in our relationship."
Furthermore, in spite of early concerns, Becca stated, "I never could've predicted the support and love that we've gotten."
