Teddi Mellencamp is making a big splash with her new love. In fact, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who has recently been open about her fight with stage 4 cancer, disclosed that she has found a new partner.

On an episode of her and Tamra Judge's podcast, Two Ts In a Pod, which aired on June 3, Teddi declared, "I'm dating somebody." He is really nice to me. He is looking after me well.

She went on, "He's not married and has no children, but he's nice."

Teddi, who has children with her ex-husband Edwin Arroyave—Slate, 12; Cruz, 10; and Dove, 5—added that her mystery man is also a “very private person.” She acknowledged that she wanted to avoid the inevitable rumors and speculation that encircle her romantic life.

The reality star, after all, talked about her experiences with paparazzi over the past few months, including how they have followed her around Orange County and sat outside her home to catch a glimpse of her and her new partner.

She acknowledged that sometimes she might yell at the photographers and push them away, saying, "There's no big story to tell here."

How is her new boyfriend responding to all of the media attention? In any case, he appeared to be fully aware of what he was getting himself into.

"Do I even say your name?" I asked him. "And he's like, 'It's really whatever you want to do; I know you're a public person,'" Teddi recalled.

Less than three months after the Bravolebrity revealed how challenging dating has been for her during her cancer battle, Teddi has found love again.

In a March episode of her and Erika Jayne's Diamonds in the Rough podcast, Teddi mentioned a past affair with someone she called "Bob," saying, "I had gone on four or five dates with this guy." He was wonderful, humorous, and kind. I last saw him when I went to watch the Super Bowl with him and his friends.

However, the 43-year-old recalled phoning Edwin, with whom she had broken up with last November, to arrange for her to be taken to the hospital two days after their football watch party. She discovered she had several brain tumors there.

The initial chemistry between her and Bob vanished as soon as she told him about her health scare.

"I was talking to my mom and we both need to know if you're going to be in a place to have more kids," Bob said over the phone. Teddi remembered their conversation over the phone when she was still in the hospital. "You're truly hurting my feelings," I sobbed. I don't believe that conversation is appropriate at this time.
