Demi Lovato has officially entered a new chapter—married life. The singer, 32, exchanged vows with fellow musician Jordan "Jutes" Lutes, 34, in a private wedding held in California on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Confirmed by Vogue, the ceremony marked a culmination of the couple's romance that began nearly three years ago.

Lovato stunned in a custom pearl white silk satin gown by Vivienne Westwood, complete with a corseted bodice and ivory tulle veil. "Vivienne's designs really complement the curves in your body," Lovato shared with Vogue, adding, "I found myself drawn to her silhouettes and use of corsets." For the reception, she changed into an ivory column dress detailed with hand-draped pearls, a piece she described as "one-of-a-kind."

The pair's engagement was first announced in December 2023, after Jutes proposed with a custom pear-shaped diamond ring. Lovato posted, "I'm still speechless. Last night was the best night of my life." The proposal took place at Craig's in West Hollywood, where close family and friends witnessed the moment.

The relationship began in 2022 during studio sessions for Lovato's album Holy Fvck, where Lutes co-wrote several tracks including "Substance" and "Happy Ending." Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Lovato noted, "We worked really well together and we're also just super in love." The couple made their red carpet debut in February 2023 at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy gala.

In a Valentine's Day Instagram post earlier this year, Lovato shared, "Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you. The past three years have been the best of my life." Jutes echoed her sentiments: "Words will never do you justice, and I'll never stop feeling like the luckiest guy alive."

The wedding reflected a blend of tradition and individuality. According to Vogue, every detail—from the gown to the pearl detailing—was intentional. "Each strand was draped and attached by hand," Lovato explained.

Their union comes after years of public and personal growth for Lovato, who came out as pansexual in 2021 and has been candid about her journey. Her marriage to Jutes not only symbolizes love but also a sense of grounding. As fans and peers celebrated the milestone, the couple remained focused on what mattered most—their commitment to one another.

"We're just so lucky," Jutes wrote. "There's no better feeling than being loved by you".
