Pop star Justin Bieber has officially addressed long-standing speculation linking him to alleged abuse by rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, whose sex trafficking trial is currently underway in New York.

The rumors resurfaced in 2023 after old videos of a teenage Bieber spending time with Diddy went viral following federal raids on the rapper's homes. In one 2009 clip, Diddy can be seen with the then 15-year-old Bieber, stating: "For the next 48 hours, he's with me. And we're gonna go full. Buck full crazy." In another, he says, "Where we're hanging out and what we're doing, we can't really disclose, but it's definitely a 15-year-old's dream."

As social media users questioned the nature of their relationship, Bieber remained silent—until now.

On May 15, a representative for Bieber told TMZ, "Although Justin is not among Sean Combs' victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve." The representative clarified that Bieber was never abused by Combs and emphasized the importance of centering the victims' voices.

Sources close to the pop star further told the outlet that Bieber and Combs were never close and that their interactions were largely "performative." Bieber, they noted, was friends with Diddy's sons rather than the rapper himself. "He was featured on Diddy's most recent album, and had he known any of this, there is no way he would have done it," one source told Mail Online, referring to 2023's The Love Album: Off The Grid.

The speculation intensified following the trial's start this week, which has seen harrowing testimony from Diddy's ex-partner Cassie Ventura. She accused the music mogul of sexual abuse, blackmail, and controlling behavior. "You make the wrong face ... then I was getting hit in the face," Ventura testified, recounting years of alleged "freak off" sex sessions she claimed to have participated in out of fear.

Combs faces multiple federal charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for prostitution. He has denied all allegations.

Despite disturbing videos and online speculation, Bieber has now publicly denied being among Diddy's victims, asking that attention remain on those who were genuinely affected.
