Jenna Bush Hager is making sure her children learn more than just life lessons — she's also showing them how to enjoy life and celebrate it fully.

During the Monday, May 12, episode of Today with Jenna & Friends, the mother of three shared a fun recap of her weekend with guest co-host Erin Andrews. The occasion? Her husband Henry Hager's 47th birthday celebration.

"We had the best time celebrating Henry's birthday," Jenna said. "It was a big one — 47. We went all out. I even dressed up! I'm a cougar," she joked, referencing a photo she posted on Instagram, which showed her party outfit picked by her daughter, Mila.

She went on to explain how her family enjoys themed celebrations, something that started during the COVID-19 lockdowns. "Mila came up with the idea to turn it into a costume party," Jenna shared. "My cousin couldn't believe we were doing all this just for fun at home, and I was like, 'Yep — this is just us being silly.'"

Jenna and Henry are parents to Mila, 13, Poppy, 9, and Hal, 5. When Andrews asked what Henry wore to the party, Jenna laughed and replied, "He dressed as Uncle Sam — but he had a Willie Nelson T-shirt underneath. And Hal? He went all in and was a dinosaur."

The night didn't end with just costumes. Jenna recalled that once the rain started, the kids threw on their swimsuits and danced outside. "We had so much fun dancing in the rain," she said.

Andrews complimented her, saying the family seemed like a true "all-American" household. Jenna responded with a laugh, "Well, I'm just teaching them the skill of partying — that's what I bring to the table."

Earlier in the week, Jenna also gave her followers a peek into her Mother's Day celebration. She posted a photo on Instagram of a cozy breakfast in bed, complete with heart-shaped waffles drizzled in chocolate and a sweet message written in sauce that read, "We ❤️ Mom."

She also shared a touching black-and-white photo of herself with Mila, Poppy, and Hal, captioned simply: "My wolf pack."
