On Sunday, May 11, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, took to Instagram to honor the special springtime holiday with a touching tribute. Alongside a rare photo of her children—Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet—climbing on her, Meghan wrote, "Happy Mother's Day! Cheers to juggling it all with joy!"
She continued the post with a sweet nod to her two little ones, whom she shares with husband Prince Harry: "And to these two gems — who still attempt to climb 'mama mountain,' smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure ... being your mom is the greatest privilege of my life."
At home in Montecito, California, Meghan and Harry focus on parenthood above all. The couple has built a life centered around their children, creating what one source described as "their happy bubble."
"The kids are adorable. They're incredibly smart, articulate, and fun," a source told PEOPLE exclusively.
Meghan wrapped up her post with a tender expression of love: "I, too, 'love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world.' "
Since relaunching her Instagram at the beginning of 2025, Meghan has offered followers rare peeks into their family life. She's shared moments from holiday celebrations, including Valentine's Day—when the family enjoyed red bagels, pink spread, and heart-shaped strawberries—and a green-themed St. Patrick's Day meal.
In March, Meghan marked the U.K.'s version of Mother's Day, known as Mothering Sunday, with a photo of a homemade fruit-topped pie. "Our family tradition. Mothering Sunday in the U.K. 🍋," she captioned the image.
Last year, Meghan and Harry spent Mother's Day in Nigeria. During a visit to Ilupeju Senior Grammar School, they watched a Giants of Africa basketball exhibition. Former NBA star Masai Ujiri, the charity's Vice-Chairman and President, publicly wished Meghan a happy Mother's Day, adding, "It is sometimes hard for us to be away from our kids and family to make things like this happen. But to do so shows dedication... so thank you again."
Prince Archie recently turned six on May 6, while Princess Lilibet is now three. As Meghan and Harry continue to share their journey as parents, their heartfelt glimpses into family life continue to resonate with fans around the world.
