The Hannah Montana alum turned heads in an all-black ensemble by Alaïa as she entered the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Benefit in New York City on May 5. The White Lotus star could see the 32-year-old as she ascended the blue stairs and entered the venue.
Additionally, Patrick, 31, was observed looking at her as she posed for photos, even though the two did not seem to exchange words when they met.
Ten years had passed since their brief relationship ended in 2015, when Miley was taking a break from her then-on-again, off-again relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
However, Patrick is engaged to Abby Champion, and Miley is currently seeing Maxx Morando. Additionally, Patrick walked the carpet with his White Lotus co-star Amiee Lou Wood while the singer of "Wrecking Ball" attended the annual gala solo. Patrick wore a black pinstriped suit with a yellow silk blouse by Balmain.
Patrick helped the Sex Education star feel less anxious than she had at her first Met Gala.
"But, thank God, Patrick. "I'm going," he said. Shall we ride in the car together? And I replied, "Please, yes." On May 5, Amiee told Zuri Hall of E! News. "So, it was much less frightening when we got into the car together."
Being accompanied by his friend on the most important night in fashion was an extra touch to Patrick's fitted ensemble.
At the Met Gala, he told E! News, "It's been great." "Going to an event like this with your friend is fantastic."
He went on, "I get anxious, so it's kind of scary for me to come. It has been pleasant to bring a friend along.
