In the United States, Britney Spears sensed that something was amiss. On her 43rd birthday, the singer of "Baby One More Time" disclosed that she had decided to relocate to Mexico in order to avoid the paparazzi.

In an Instagram video posted on December 2, Britney said, "It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I'm wearing, like, a white Jason mask." I don't even resemble it.

Although she is aware that she is "not perfect at all by any means," the "Stronger" singer went on to say that the paparazzi have "always been incredibly cruel to" her and that she feels their treatment of her has been "extremely mean and cruel."

She went on to say, "And that's why I've moved to Mexico."

In pictures obtained by TMZ, Britney, who is married to ex-husband Kevin Federline and has two sons, Sean, 19, and Jayden, 18, was seen arriving in Cabo San Lucas on December 2. She was wearing sunglasses, a black hat, and a white trench coat, and she seemed to be beaming.

Britney joked that she wasn't aging in another Instagram video that was posted that same day, stating, "This year, I'm turning five. Tomorrow is my fifth birthday, and I have to start kindergarten.

However, the Grammy winner's big day on December 2nd was not just her birthday and her move to Mexico; it was also the day she became legally single after her divorce from ex-husband Sam Asghari in August 2023.

Legal documents acquired by E! News verified that the former couple's marital status officially ended on December 2, 2024, even though they reached a divorce settlement in May.

Sam has had positive memories of his time with Britney despite their breakup.

"You learn so much from being in relationships in general," the 30-year-old said in a July interview with E! News. "I appreciate all the amazing experiences that I got."

Additionally, he stated that his time spent with Britney is "something that's always going to be a part of me."

When he said, "I wish her the best," "She's an amazing person and a huge part of my life, and I always appreciate the moments we had together."
