Kallie Wright is opening up about her worst fear. Levi, the 3-year-old son of her and her husband Spencer Wright, is being removed from life support two weeks after he plunged into a Utah river while riding his toy tractor and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

"After several sleepless nights, lots of research, multiple conversations with the world's best neurologists, and millions of prayers, we are here in the face of our biggest fear," Kallie wrote on her Facebook page on June 2. "Levi showed us just enough to buy us time for all of this."

Two weeks after the toddler was airlifted to the hospital following his rescue from a nearby river, their heartbreaking update has been released. Although Kallie had previously disclosed that Levi had awakened from his coma, she recently shared the family's sadness in her post regarding their decision to say goodbye. In a recent post, Kallie wrote, "We prayed that those things were him defying odds and proving to us that he wanted to stay here." He clearly intended to give us some time to come to terms with letting him go, though. I told you that my baby was kind and thoughtful, and I really think he did that for us."

She also mentioned in her post how strong her son was in his final moments. "During this time, he brought out humanity across the nation; he dropped so many to their knees and reminded them what truly matters in this world," she went on. It does, in a way, give that T-rex strength a whole new meaning. I will soon get into bed with my baby and hold him while he drifts off to sleep for the last time in his earthly life. I take solace in the knowledge that he will regain his full potential and be able to pursue his passions."

The rodeo star's children, Steeley, 5, and Brae, 9 months, are also shared by Kallie, who concluded her post by saying, "We will miss him every second of every day down here, but feel without unwavering doubt that this is the best thing we can do for him!"

The family has been providing followers with updates on their challenging journey during Levi's hospitalization and has provided insight into his condition over the last few weeks.

Representatives for the Wright family posted on Facebook on May 22. "Levi's heart is beating on its own; he has the will to breathe, but his sweet little brain was without oxygen for too long, and there is no coming back from that," they said. "After spending the entire night with him, we firmly believe that his spirit has left us.
