Having faced one of last season’s Champions League finalists in midweek, Stuttgart faced the other here as they looked to bounce back from a 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid. Barcelona were clinical on their way to a 5-1 win over Villarreal as the Blaugrana maintained their perfect start to their league campaign.
