Aaron Rodgers turned back the clock with a vintage performance in his Steelers debut that featured big throws, no turnovers and a late victory over his former team.

Rodgers threw four touchdown passes — two in a 50-second span in the second half — and Chris Boswell kicked a go-ahead, career-long 60-yard field goal with 1:03 remaining to lead Pittsburgh to a 34-32 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has shared that Travis Kelce is ready for the new season and in a positive state of mind following a whirlwind offseason. Speaking to reporters in Brazil on September 4 ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs' opening game, Reid praised the tight end's commitment to training and described him as being in a "good, good place."

The 67-year-old coach highlighted Kelce's dedication both during training camp and in the offseason, emphasizing that his star player is eager to get started. Reid also pointed out that despite the headlines surrounding Kelce's personal life, including his recent engagement, there have been no noticeable changes in the way he prepares for success on the field.

During the same press conference, Kelce, 35, spoke about his engagement to Taylor Swift after being asked how his life has shifted and whether balancing his personal life with football has been difficult. With a lighthearted response, he joked that he now has "one more ring," before adding with a smile, "Well, two if we're counting the Super Bowl." He admitted that life has been fun and exciting since he began dating Swift, acknowledging that while there is more public attention on him, he embraces it and is enjoying every moment. "I'm living life. Living on a high, I guess," Kelce told reporters.

The tight end had previously shared the engagement news alongside Swift on August 26 and opened up further on the September 3 episode of New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce. Jason excitedly announced the news to listeners, joking about the Instagram post that had gone viral. Travis confirmed the announcement and expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love, messages, and support from fans and friends. He said it has been a joy to share the milestone with everyone and to reveal who he will be spending the rest of his life with.

Despite the media frenzy surrounding his engagement, Kelce's focus remains firmly on football. The Chiefs are set to take on the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 5 to kick off the season.

As always, the NFL Draft delivered plenty of drama, with Shedeur Sanders' dramatic slide and the Jacksonville Jaguars' bold trade among the biggest talking points. While the draft lacked the usual depth of star names, there was still plenty of intrigue, and although it's difficult to truly judge a draft class immediately, opinions on the winners and losers are already forming.

He went on, "It's just preparation and depending on your teammates." "You don't exaggerate the game's significance. You spend your whole life preparing for these occasions, and your teammates follow suit. When you combine all of that effort, you can perform extraordinary feats.
