Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed she is no longer in a relationship with Klay Thompson, bringing their nearly year-long romance to an end.

The rapper shared the news through a statement, making it clear what led to her decision. "I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward," she said.

She added that she is "taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity."

Her statement came hours after she posted a series of messages on Instagram that hinted at problems in the relationship.

In one post, she wrote, "Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house... got 'cold feet,'" suggesting a breakdown in trust.

In a follow-up message, she opened up further about her frustrations, saying, "Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous'???? ... I need a REAL break after this one."

Thompson has not responded publicly to the claims or addressed the breakup.

The pair first sparked dating rumors in mid-2025 before making their relationship official at Megan's Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City. At the event, Thompson spoke warmly about her, saying, "Megan is such a special person and she inspires so many around the world... I'm honored to be here by her side."

Although their relationship had appeared strong publicly, Megan's recent posts point to challenges that were not visible at the time.
