MILEY CYRUS FACES COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT LAWSUIT OVER "FLOWERS"

Taylor Swift claimed the highly coveted Video of the Year award at the 2024 MTV VMAs for her hit "Fortnight" featuring Post Malone. The 34-year-old superstar edged out fierce competition, including Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Eminem, and SZA, during the ceremony at UBS Arena.

Shawn Mendes made a memorable appearance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, not only for his performance but also for walking the red carpet with a special guest—his sister, Aaliyah Mendes. Fans initially speculated about their relationship due to their close presence at the event, but Mendes quickly cleared up any confusion, posting on X (formerly Twitter), “That’s my sister,” accompanied by crying emojis and hearts aflame.

Taylor Swift was the “star of the night” after she won numerous awards including the best collaboration award for “fortnight” featuring Post Malone. Malone joined Swift on stage and she acknowledged him by referring to him as “everyone in music’s favorite person” to work with. Swift received the top prize of video of the year for “Fortnight.” She holds the record for most wins in that category with five, including three consecutive victories since 2022, for “Bad Blood,” “You Need to Calm Down,” “All Too Well,” “Anti-Hero” and “Fortnight.”

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are among the headline artists set to perform for BBC Radio 1’s highly anticipated Live Lounge Month 2024. The month-long event will begin on September 30 with a performance by Cabello, followed by Mendes on October 7. Both artists have a history of captivating Live Lounge performances, with Cabello expressing her excitement, calling it “one of [her] favourite places to perform.”
