Pete Davidson is stepping into the fatherhood chapter. The 31-year-old comedian is expecting his first child with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt.
Elsie Hewitt, 29, announced the pregnancy on Instagram with a cheeky caption that read, "welp now everyone knows we had sex," alongside a photo of the couple smiling and holding her stomach. The post also featured videos from an ultrasound appointment and several affectionate selfies. A source has told People that the couple "couldn't be more excited."
The pair were first romantically linked in March after being seen kissing during a beach outing in Palm Beach, Florida. Just a month later, they confirmed their relationship publicly by attending an NBA game together, walking in hand-in-hand. In May it was reported that Davidson and Hewitt had moved in together, splitting their time between the comedian's upstate New York residence and a rented Brooklyn brownstone.
The couple's pregnancy reveal comes two months after they made their red-carpet debut at the 13th Annual Blossom Ball held at The Pierre Hotel in New York City. Earlier this month, Hewitt also offered fans a glimpse into their private life by sharing photos from their lake trip and Fourth of July celebration, including snapshots of Davidson rowing a boat and planting a kiss on her cheek.
Before dating Hewitt, Davidson was known for his high-profile romances with celebrities such as Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Emily Ratajkowski, Kaia Gerber and Kate Beckinsale. He was previously engaged to pop star Grande in 2018.
Davidson has previously expressed his desire to become a father. In a 2022 appearance on Hart to Heart, he said, "My favourite thing ever, which I'm yet to achieve, is I wanna have a kid." He added, "It's super corny, but it would be so fun to dress up a little dude. I'm so excited for that chapter... so that's kind of what I'm just preparing for now."
Now, with Hewitt by his side, that chapter is about to begin.
