IRAN HOLDS MASS FUNERAL FOR MILITARY LEADERS AND SCIENTISTS KILLED IN CONFLICT WITH ISRAEL

Bumble CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd announced the dating app will lay off nearly a third of its workforce, citing an "inflection point" in the dating industry and pressures facing the company. In a note to staff, Wolfe Herd said the move is necessary to "restructure to build a company that's resilient, intentional, and ready for the next decade," as Bumble struggles to grow and investors lose confidence.

Japan has criticized US President Donald Trump for equating recent US strikes on Iran to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that ended World War II. "That hit ended the war," Trump said on Wednesday, adding, "I don't want to use an example of Hiroshima, I don't want to use an example of Nagasaki, but that was essentially the same thing."

Eight people tragically lost their lives in a recent boating accident in Lake Tahoe.
Josh Pickles, a 37-year-old San Francisco DoorDash executive, and his parents, Terry Pickles, 73, and Paula Bozinovic, 71, were among the victims, the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office Coroner's Division told ABC 7 San Francisco. According to a family spokesperson who spoke to the outlet, Josh's uncle Peter Bayes, 72, also perished in the accident.
