An American man who was detained on drug charges in 2023, has been sentenced to 13 years in a penal colony by a Russian court. Travis Leake, a “former paratrooper and musician” was accused of engaging in a narcotics business, according to RIA. Leake pleaded not guilty to the charges, Russian state media TASS said.
